Automatic SHUT DOWN for WIN7/VISTA/XP/2000

Have you ever found yourself waiting for your computer to complete the process so you can turn it off? Or do you find yourself leaving your computer on all the time, even though you know that a healthy system needs to be restarted periodically? Auto Shutdown is a simple utility that allows users to schedule time for their computer to shut down or restart automatically. It's not fancy, but it is easy to use, and scheduling a surprise adjusted.
The program's interface is quite simple and intuitive, with several tabs that contain drop-down menu. Users simply choose the action they want the program to take - turn off, restart, or standby - and then choose when they want it to happen. The program has several options for scheduling, can be arranged to take selected actions in a number of minutes, on a particular day (or days) a week, or on a certain date. When choosing the day of week or specific dates, the user can set the time to minutes. Auto Shutdown also allows users to set a keyboard shortcut to shut down, restart, standby, hibernate, and log off. This program is no Help files, but it's pretty easy to figure out, and we have trouble imagining anything that a user may have questions about. Overall, though no about Auto Shutdown is very impressed with us, we think this is a good choice if you need a simple way to schedule your computer to shut down or restart.
Auto Shutdown is free. Install and uninstall without problems. We recommend this program to all users.
