iTunes is a software from Apple Computer that can play, organize and buy songs (from iTunes Store). The software is available in versions that can be run using the XP operating system, Vista, and 7. This tool has gained the reputation of being easy to use and organization of the song is good. iTunes has a feature that allows users to organize, change information and recording songs from a CD. Also iTunes can also send the song into a music player devices, iPods, and also buy songs from the iTunes Store via  internet.

One of the interesting features of iTunes is its ability to create a Smart Playlist is a playlist that can change its contents when the user performs manipulation of the songs in the collection.

Currently iTunes can play MP3 formatted documents, AIFF, WAV, AAC and Apple Lossless. Because iTunes uses QuickTime technology, many documents that can be played with QuickTime software can also be played with iTunes. iTunes can also play songs purchased from iTunes Store, and even free formats like OGG by adding plug-ins into a QuickTime component.

Windows version of iTunes can even change the document type to AAC WMA directly within the iTunes program. But iTunes does not have the ability to play WMA document directly.
